A Bronx take on the “hanging coffee” tradition
You may have heard of hanging coffee — when someone pays in advance for a coffee that a person in need can later redeem.
Friendly Fridge Bucks follows that same “pay it forward” spirit — but instead of a cup of coffee, it provides a full, warm meal through local Bronx restaurants and delis.
